Overview:

WIO Darwin Black Lava Stone Mix is a dramatic natural hardscape stone with a deep black to dark grey appearance and a highly textured volcanic surface. Its rugged shape and natural crevices make it ideal for creating strong contrast in planted aquariums, terrariums and natural display layouts.

The porous surface provides excellent texture for attaching mosses and epiphytic plants such as Anubias, while also helping to create a more natural-looking habitat. Its dark colour works especially well against bright green aquatic plants, mosses, wood and lighter substrates, making it a strong choice for high-impact aquascapes and nature-style layouts.

As an inert stone, Darwin Black Lava does not affect water hardness, making it suitable for planted aquariums and sensitive aquatic setups when properly rinsed and prepared before use.

Usage Tips:

• Leave space between the stone and aquarium glass for easier maintenance
• Can be combined with wood, sand, gravel, moss and aquatic plants for a natural finish
